I found that there wasn’t a cool planetarium for the terminal . starwheel - see the stars in your terminalI’ve always been an astronomy nerd and I wondered if I could find something where I could see real time stars in the terminal, I couldn’t find anything sufficient so I built one myself. Really fun project to do.

It’s pretty intuitive, I’d say the the coolest thing to try is following the steps to include a local llm to analyse the star/planet/constellation
I’m pretty sure it’s the only tui planetarium made with nodejs. I invite you to try it out, relatively easy to set up.
Starwheel to push daily notifications of what to look for in the sky tonight. I feel like the coolest goal to try and achieve is to be able to implement a digital telescope where the program dynamically changes based on what the telescope is pointed at. I’ve been working on improving the celestial accuracy.
