Blazing fast, terminal music player (TUI) written in Rust. Extensible via Lua plugins, built on Ratatui, MPV, and YT-DLP. Listen to YouTube, SoundCloud, and local files directly from your terminal. Lightweight, headless, ads-free.

First workflow
Open the app and press / to search for your favorite artist or track in the Discover tab. Use j/k to navigate the results and hit Enter to start playing immediately. While listening, press Tab to switch focus to the Queue panel, where you can manage your upcoming tracks, or use 1-4 to quickly jump between your local library and online search results
Design choice
The core philosophy is "Neovim out of music players" It features a highly responsive asynchronous core (using Tokio) so the UI never freezes during searches. It also includes a powerful Lua plugin system for extensive customization, allowing users to write scripts that react to keys, search queries, and playback events, much like configuring a modern terminal editor. Lua can also add tabs and more
Roadmap
Expanding the Lua plugin ecosystem, adding more built-in themes, and continuing to refine local library management and search providers
